MR series motors have ball bearings (radial or oblique) or roller bearings,

grease lubricated with grease nipples on both sides.

Shape and dimensions of the bearing outer covers allow a high exhausted grease accumulation (10-12 lubrications) and are provided with drain plug.

Standard horizontal motors have a roller bearing on the drive end and an axially locked ball bearing on the non drive end.

This solution allows high performances in case of radial stresses coming from belt drives or gears.

On request, machines can be prepared for fitting the SPM monitoring system (Shock Pulse Method) on both bearings.

On request, Pt-100 thermal detector can be fi tted on both bearings, in order to check the correct bearing temperature.

Motors frame size 355 and 400 are provided with an insulated bearing on the non drive end to avoid shaft currents circulation.

On request, also motors frame size 132÷315 can be supplied with insulated bearing on the non drive end.

Lifetime of bearings (in accordance with supplier data) is in excess of 40.000 hours, for motors with direct coupling.
